Be Good, Be True, Be Kind.

These are words I try to live by.  Through my posts, I hope this will shine through.

I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts on all sorts of things I have posted here on Magnolia Manor. But, it is mostly about FOOD!  Food, glorious food.  It is mostly low carb, but every one in a while some high carb, crowd pleasing recipies make their way in here.  They are just too good to pass up!

I love living in the South and feel lucky to call it home.  I love to cook, meet up with friends and soak in the view at our mountain house in North Georgia while still enjoying the hustle and bustle of city life during the week.

I love my life here, my amazing husband (and great cook too!  Follow him on instagram @joesbiggreen to see some of his masterpieces) and our Cat Amy.  We sadly lost our beloved dog Benton boy last June, and our home is certainly empty without him.  If you want to read about him, you can here

There are many things to fall in love with about the south, the winters are mild and the springs overflow with color and abundance – I love how the Bradford Pears are the first to pop during that time as they cast a white canopy over their domain.  We have an amazing friend group that we now call family, and there is a wonderful sense of hospitality I feel every day here in the “south”.

Live the best life you can in the circumstance you have.

All the Best,
